I do remember the second time my ear received similar damage by way of a triangle in BJJ, and from there I spent 2 years figuring out how to hold steady compression on my ear for 4-7 days, and thought that if I could compress it before it fills, I would be spending more time on the mats and less time running around looking for solutions with a throbbing ear. Kind of amazing to think about how painful this condition can be, and realize it’s been happening for thousands of years.

Matheus has competed worldwide as a brown belt and taken gold in events like the Abu Dhabi World Grand Slam in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro and Abu Dhabi. He's also been on the top of the podium in other global events in the Netherlands, the UK, Asia, Switzerland and the US.
We wanted to address the issue of a low cost, very powerful and dangerous option tried by many athletes trying to mitigate the incessant re-filling of damaged ear tissue in contact sport.
Objective: Increase the number of our youth participating in amateur wrestling, Brazilian jiu jitsu, rugby and contact sports nationwide. This objective would be accomplished by adopting a program leveraging the Caulicure Advanced Compression System, to prevent the condition Cauliflower Ear.
